Songwriting and Recording Camp

There's much more to the music industry than simply playing an instrument.  This two-week camp is designed to give students a taste of just what it takes to write, arrange, and record their own original songs.  Students will work with our experienced staff and with each other to create their very own material!

Camp sessions will be devoted to all aspects of songwriting including writing melodies, harmonies, and lyrics.  Students will collaborate on arranging for different instruments, maximizing the emotional impact, and most important, making the final product as rockin' as possible.

Campers will then learn the basics of the recording process by recording the material they have written at the School of Rock, and will be provided with a copy of their very own music to take home!

Experience: We ask that students have at least 6+ months of instruction on their instrument before attending our Songwriting and Recording camp.  No songwriting or recording experience is necessary.
